Simona Kočar has been an active, professional dancer for the past 12 years, starting her professional career at the Kjara’s Dance Project dance company, but the start goes back to when she was 7, after she had to make a choice between going to music school or pursuing the art of dance. The choice was obvious.

Since then Simona has been a part of more than 30 major projects, including musicals, operas, operettas, performances, dramas and unique dancing spectacles. There were many that left a sparkling memory, one of them being Žabji Kralj, (The Frog Prince) her very first performance back in 2003, the memory of which always put her back on stage, not only as a competitor, but as a performer; the light of the stage, the ambience of the theatre always inviting her back on its wooden floors.

Other “sparkling memory” projects include Compassion, Knjiga o džungli, Romana otroci in pošast Pozabaaa, Triptih, Prodana Nevesta, Kraljestvo glasbe and counting.
